I would guess he means that if you have several XBMC clients, they can share one database over the movies; downloaded art etc.
You update one movie, and the rest gets updated per auto.

I just recently set up my very own NAS with a Zotac H55-ITX and a Core i3 530. I was just browsing google as I ended up here, and you guide was really nice. I will save it for future reference.. Good work!
